Wine:

The 2022 Meursault Meix Chavaux White comes from parcels that, in select vintages, are vinified separately. Highly expressive, it opens with aromas of white fruits, pineapple, and citrus, unfolding into a refined, lingering profile marked by the vibrant tension of its terroir. The finish is precise and mineral-driven, with citrus notes leaving a strong impression of its limestone origins. This is a wine well worth cellaring—at least five years—and is ideally suited to delicately prepared fish, whether steamed or poached.

Vinification:

Area: 0.47 hectares. Subsoil composed of slate. Average age of vines: 35 years. Approximately 800 bottles produced.
The vines are grown using non-certified organic methods.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Noble fish, shellfish, steamed or poached.

Cellar aging:

Starting today and continuing until 2030.

A Meursault powerhouse, Domaine François Mikulski is a well-kept secret among insiders—and one of the most coveted names in Burgundy. Acclaimed by critics, these wines are counted among the region’s finest, prized for their honest expression of terroir and remarkable authenticity.

For over three decades, François Mikulski—now joined by his son-in-law, Thomas Boccon—has charted a course of excellence defined by purity, finesse, and freshness. Organic farming, a careful touch with new oak, and perfectly timed harvests all come together to create wines of impeccable balance.

Discreet yet revered, this estate has become a magnet for Burgundy lovers. But with production limited, opportunities to secure these bottles remain rare.
