The 2022 red Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte comes from vines planted in 1959, at the foot of Clos Saint-Denis, rooted in exceptionally stony soils. This ideal location shapes a generous wine with a precise, mineral profile that reveals expressive depth and vibrant energy, combining both indulgence and refinement. Bright cherry flavors and crisp, lively tannins create a fresh, beautifully balanced wine, full of charm and vitality. A magnificent bottle to enjoy over the next decade, or to cellar for even longer. In magnum, both the pleasure and the ageing potential are even greater. Awarded 94/100 by the French wine guide RVF.

Vinification:

Vines planted in 1959. Located at the foot of Clos Saint Denis, on a gentle slope, with a clay-limestone soil composed of numerous small pebbles. Hand harvested.

Certified organic wine.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.

Roast beef in a herb crust, roast duckling, lamb shank confit, pheasant casserole, matured farmhouse Saint-Nectaire.
