Wine:On a background of toasted notes with a slight hint of vanilla, the 2018 White Meursault develops a beautiful harmony of flavors. The ripe flavors of fruits such as white peach and hawthorn accompany a generous palate, which remains precise and balanced. A very nice bottle to drink or to keep for another two to three years to accompany a white meat or a cooked fish.
Vinification:Hand harvested, vinification from 6 weeks to 2 months in oak barrels, ageing from 14 to 16 months in oak barrels of which 15 to 35% are new
Color:Bright, light golden yellow.
Nose:Aromas of white peach tinged with hawthorn scents.
Palate:Full-bodied and well-balanced with beautifully ripe fruit, this cuvée has a generous profile and offers a juice full of flavor and precision, with precise ageing and fine toasted and vanilla notes.
Temperature:Serve between 10 and 12°C.
Food and wine pairing:Fine fish, shellfish, white meat, poultry, fish terrine, vol au vent of poultry and crayfish, filet of turbot, brill or sea bream with white butter.
