The 2018 white Domaine du Pavillon Beaune 1er cru Clos des Mouches is a wine in a league of its own, already foreshadowing its very high level which, with time, will find a perfect path to fulfillment. The floral aromatic palette, punctuated by toasted-grilled notes and supported by the ageing process, opens the ball in a very vanilla and refined ensemble. The concentrated, ripe palate, sheathed by modern, imposing ageing, traces with authority and amplitude. Its density, volume and generous presence will allow it to go the distance, if you have a little patience, because this wine has the stature. Rated 94/100 by the Committee.

Albert Bichot is one of the most prestigious houses in Burgundy, having won several awards and international critical acclaim. Carefully selected plots, fully ripe harvests and controlled ageing, respecting the identity of each terroir, are the pillars of this Burgundy institution recognized far beyond our borders.

Orchestrated with sensitivity by Albéric Bichot, the architect of its success, this House is now a force to be reckoned with.

With its Domaine du Pavillon, it vinifies one of Burgundy's most prized crus, the famous Clos des Mouches. Its 75-acre plot of sun-drenched Chardonnay, located mid-slope next to Pommard, gives this white wine great precision and purity. Certainly on a Grand Cru level!
