The 2020 red Beaune 1er cru Le Bastion is a pinot of great maturity, balanced between elegance and consistency. Its very pure nose, marked by cherry, a touch of sage and well-integrated oak, immediately sets the tone. The juicy frame expresses all the fleshiness of the vintage, with concentrated substance, coated tannins and fine structural bitters. This is a fresh wine that will keep for 5 to 7 years. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.
