Also claiming the Morgeot finage, the 2021 white Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Boudriotte is a little rarity made from just 24 ares of old vines. It's a straightforward Chardonnay, perfectly balanced between finesse and power, which finds in this vintage a particularly brilliant mineral length with acidulous fruit and a first-rate zesty bitterness. A premier cru with great ageing potential, with that noble sensation of power and firmness. Rated 93/100 RVF.

Harvested by hand. Aged for 12 months in 350-litre barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new, then 4 to 6 months in vats before bottling.

Since 2004, this exceptional winemaker has charted a flawless course, committed to organic farming, and championing a pure and sophisticated interpretation of Burgundy's chardonnay.
