Wine:

The 2023 Red Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits opens with a delicate profile, very lightly oaked, and marked by enticing aromas of morello cherry and red fruit. The texture balances depth with finesse, supported by fine-grained tannins. A beautiful bottle to enjoy now or cellar for another five years. Rated 93+/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested grapes. Vines aged between 30 and 80 years old. Fermentation using 100% indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged in oak barrels. No fining, light filtration before bottling.

Color:

Bright red, with beautiful intensity.

Nose:

Very pure, delicate, and fresh, with hints of red fruit and morello cherry, very little oak.

Palate:

The palate is crisp, deep, and easy to drink, with noticeable, delicate tannins. A beautiful wine that is ready to drink now or can be aged for another 5 years.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Appetizers, artisanal charcuterie, pâté en croûte, grilled white and red meats, roasted free-range guinea fowl.
