Wine:

From an 80-year-old, one-hectare mid-slope vineyard, the 2017 red Corton Bressandes Grand Cru delivers the quintessence of refinement. The whole harvest gives it an incomparable velvety texture, with notes of precious woods, sandalwood, smoke and spices, as well as fresh fruit and red berries. A perfect blend of power and delicacy, this grand cru is a model pinot noir with immense potential. A high degree of elegance, rated 96/100 by the Comité.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand, vinified in whole, sorted bunches for 3 weeks without added sulfites and with twice-daily punching of the cap, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts without artificial temperature control, malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees in "reduced" rooms without racking, with stirring without added sulfites, for 16 months in barrels.

Refined notes of rosewood, smoke and fresh fruit.

Palate:

Delicate and powerful, with delicious strawberry flavors, this cuvée delivers fine tannins and expresses itself with elegance.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Duckling stuffed with morel mushrooms, wood pigeon with porcini mushrooms and roast venison.
