Wine:

Vinified with 40% whole clusters, the 2014 Clos de Tart Grand Cru Red reveals magnificent fruit, with notes of blackberries, plum, and cherry. This refined aromatic profile flows seamlessly onto the palate, unfolding in a voluptuous, intense, and fleshy structure, yet maintaining incredible elegance with soft, silky tannins. The vibrant tannic core and mineral brightness bring energy and savoury complexity, leading to a long, airy, and delicate finish. A great wine built for aging — patience will be handsomely rewarded. Rated 95–97/100 by Parker.

At the gateway to the Côte de Nuits, on the exceptional terroir of Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos de Tart is a discreet yet internationally renowned vineyard. It is one of Burgundy’s crown jewels, celebrated for its history, rarity, and singular character.

Covering just 7.53 hectares with a perfectly balanced north-south exposure, the vineyard is a patchwork of limestone, gravel, and clay soils. More than a prestigious Grand Cru, Clos de Tart is an appellation in its own right—one of only five monopole Grand Crus in Burgundy.

This highly sought-after wine, whose reputation and value continue to soar, is a collector’s dream. Simply owning a bottle is an accomplishment in itself.

Now under the stewardship of Artémis Domaines (owners of Château Latour, Château Grillet, Domaine d’Eugénie, and Champagne Jacquesson), Clos de Tart is carefully allocated and marketed with precision. Thanks to our excellent relationship with the estate, we secure a unique allocation each year.
