Wine:

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières Red was aged partly in one-third new barrels and can be decanted before serving. The refined nose is dominated by pure fruit, with delicate toasted notes in the background. On the palate, it reveals a dense, focused structure with rounded, subtle tannins. This is a wine that showcases all the elegance and energy of Pinot Noir, finishing long with beautifully pure fruit and a silky, enveloping texture that reflects the quality of the vintage. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 100% destemmed grapes macerated in open stainless steel vats for 22 days, with punching down and pumping over. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. Bottled without fining, with light filtration.

Intense brilliant ruby red.

Nose:

Very refined, red fruit aromas underscored by delicate toasted notes.

Palate:

Elegant and energetic, with pure, abundant fruit notes, this wine offers a seductive, dense and slender structure, with round, subtle tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Temperature:

Decant and serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.
