Wine:
From a parcel of clay, limestone and sand, the 2017 Red Beaune Premier Cru Les Teurons delivers a lovely aromatic complexity, with pure notes of morello cherries and cherries in syrup, lifted by a discreet hint of oak that adds depth without overpowering the fruit. Already showing beautiful evolution, it offers fine yet structured tannins and the appetizing chew of a medium-bodied Pinot Noir, which will soften even further with a little more time in bottle. A truly charming wine.Vinification:
Hand harvested grapes. Fermentation of whole grapes for two weeks. Aged for 17 months in oak barrels, with a moderate proportion of new barrels.3.8-hectare plot, clay, limestone, and sandy soil, southeast exposure.

Crimson red, bright.Nose:
Aromas of morello cherry and cherry syrup, pure and delicate, enhanced by subtle woody notes.Palate:
On the palate, this is a 2017 with beautiful development, delicate, present tannins, and a lovely medium-density Pinot texture that will refine with a little more bottle aging. Ready to drink in five years or more for enthusiasts.
