Wine:

From 1.5 hectares of organically farmed vines just outside Meursault, the 2023 Bourgogne Côte d’Or Blanc confidently borrows all the hallmarks of its illustrious neighbor — depth, complexity, and length. Aged in barrels with a gentle touch, it shows a supple, fruit-and-spice-driven profile layered with hints of citrus and subtle exotic notes. The finish is bright and mouthwatering, marked by a vibrant saline lift that makes it a perfect match for crispy calamari, seared scallops with curry, or simply grilled fish.

Vinification:

Area: 1.5 hectares. Subsoil composed of fine river alluvium, common in the lower part of the hillside. Aged in oak barrels for around 10 months, then racked and transferred to vats for 2 months before bottling.
The vines are grown using non-certified organic methods.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif with Comté cheese gougères, free-range chicken supreme, lemon confit cream, sole meunière, lemon butter, cod fillet, cauliflower purée, citrus oil, grey shrimp or langoustines, yuzu mayonnaise.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2031, and beyond for enthusiasts

A giant in Meursault, Domaine François Mikulski remains a discreet yet highly sought-after name. Praised by critics and cherished by collectors, the estate’s wines rank among the finest in Burgundy, celebrated for their authenticity and honest reflection of their terroirs.

For over 30 years, François Mikulski — now joined by his son-in-law Thomas Boccon — has pursued a path of excellence, where purity, finesse, and freshness take center stage. With organic farming, restrained use of new oak, and perfectly timed harvests, every choice is guided by one goal: achieving true balance.
