Wine:

From 0.62 hectares of 50-year-old vines and aged in barrels with 20% new oak, the 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots White is a wine of elegance, energy, and striking minerality. The nose unfolds with refined aromas of white fruits and citrus, delicately touched with hints of violet. On the palate, it continues this fruit-driven expression with a silky texture and exemplary precision. The finish is superb—long and seamless—capturing both the ripeness of the harvest and the finesse of the ageing process. This is a beautifully harmonious wine, delivering coherence from start to finish. A top-tier Poruzots of exceptional class.

Vinification:

Area: 62 acres. Subsoil composed of a brown layer of horizontal silt about 30 centimeters deep, resting on a base of cracked rock. Average age of vines: 50 years. Aging with few new barrels (20%) and the rest in one-, two-, and three-wine barrels preserves the expression of the terroir.
The vines are grown using non-certified organic methods.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Foie gras mi-cuit, cream-braised skate wing, veal sweetbread bouchées à la reine.

Cellar aging:

Starting today and continuing until 2032.

A Meursault powerhouse, Domaine François Mikulski is a well-kept secret among insiders—and one of the most coveted names in Burgundy. Acclaimed by critics, these wines are counted among the region’s finest, prized for their honest expression of terroir and remarkable authenticity.

For over three decades, François Mikulski—now joined by his son-in-law, Thomas Boccon—has charted a course of excellence defined by purity, finesse, and freshness. Organic farming, a careful touch with new oak, and perfectly timed harvests all come together to create wines of impeccable balance.

Discreet yet revered, this estate has become a magnet for Burgundy lovers. But with production limited, opportunities to secure these bottles remain rare.
