It shows off its power confidently, without ever leaning on overtly sweet oak—just beautifully judged ageing that brings polish and depth without masking the character. This is finesse in its purest form, the kind that makes Burgundy so irresistible. With such remarkable balance and clarity, it’s set for an exceptional future in the cellar. Rated 97/100 by the Selection Committee.

A cornerstone of Gevrey-Chambertin, Estate Henri Rebourseau boasts one of the region’s most enviable collections of vineyards, with nearly every Grand Cru you could hope for. Over the years, it has won over Burgundy lovers with wines that capture flawless fruit expression in the purest Burgundian tradition.

Backed by the Bouygues family yet still run by its historic owners, the estate has taken a giant leap forward, embracing a profound transformation in both scale and style.

The vineyards are now being converted to biodynamics, a gleaming new winery has been built, and state-of-the-art equipment allows for gentle gravity-flow handling. Ageing has been reimagined, and the wines are more precise, more concentrated, and more true to their origins than ever before. This deep overhaul has catapulted the estate onto the same level as Burgundy’s most revered names.
