Wine:
The 2023 Meursault Les Tessons White is a small-production gem, crafted from just half a hectare of old vines on clay-limestone soils. This prized 4-hectare climat is shared among only eight producers, and the wine stands out for its density and power. Beneath a touch of oak still present at this stage, it reveals striking salinity and vibrant tension. The balance is masterful, with a tight, noble texture and a sapid core. A wine of impressive stature and length, clearly approaching Premier Cru level. Rated 94/100 by the VALAP Selection Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Aged for 16 to 18 months in barrels, 25% of which are new.Area of 0.50 ha, clay-limestone soil, exposed rock, red earth, vines planted in 1958 and 1989.
