Rated 97/100 by Parker, the 2020 Red Bierzo La Vizcaina La Vitoriana is a wine of great finesse, aged in large wooden tuns. Made from north-facing terroirs that give it great freshness, with a little more Alicante Bouschet in the blend this year, it delivers an impeccable score, very fruity, with an elegant structure. A wine "à la bourguignonne", astonishing under these latitudes, at the same time powerful, energetic and velvety. At this price, it is an incredible challenge!

Free spirited and slightly rebellious, reaching nearly cult-status for all the young Spanish winemakers, Raul Perez is simply unique, doing nothing like everyone else. We could even venture to say that he does better than everyone else. He follows nature and its rhythm and retains only the best of it, according to each vintage.
