The Arran distillery's flagship reference, launched in 2006, has an established reputation. The Arran 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been revamped without changing the original recipe. The result of a blend of bourbon casks and 1st fill Hogshead sherry casks, this single malt perfectly expresses the floral, spicy and fruity character typical of the Isle of Arran. After more than a year of sketches and designs, Arran's brand-new identity is born. Sleek, ultra-premium and unmistakably modern, these new bottles capture the essence of the Isle of Arran and its distillery. Fruity, sweet and floral. Notes of candied citrus, baked apple, vanilla bean, cinnamon and hazelnut.

Elaboration:

Non-peated. Single Malt resulting from a blend of 60% Bourbon casks and 40% first-fill Hogshead Sherry casks. Not chill-filtered.

Color:

Luminous, intense light gold with amber highlights.

Nose:

Notes of candied lemon, licorice stick and hints of brown sugar caramel.

Palate:

Fruity, sweet and floral, with flavors of citrus, vanilla, baked apples and sweet spices. The finish is deliciously long and clean, with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

Food and wine pairing:

As an aperitif or a traditional digestif, on its own or accompanied by a fresh, neutral, still spring water, Speyside Glenlivet for lovers of Scottish water.

Boldness, a good dose of tradition and a touch of originality: that's the spirit of Arran! Founded in 1995 and located on the island of the same name, the Arran distillery has remained one of the few independent distilleries. Built on the superb site of Lochranza, the distillery benefits from an ideal climate for whisky production: one of the purest airs in the world, lush greenery, sea spray and the temperate climate of the golf stream. A unique setting for a unique whisky!
