Wine:

Fermented with indigenous yeast in oak vats over 150 years old, the 2001 Red Viña Bosconia Gran Reserva is a wine of great balance. Composed of local grape varieties, it transcends us by its subtlety and identity. Open it a few hours before tasting for it to reach its maximum potential. Rated 96/100 by Parker, only 5,000 bottles of this wine were produced!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, aged for 10 years in barrels and subjected to 2 decuvings/year, bottled in 2012. 5000 bottles produced.

Color:

Brilliant ruby color, light tiled reflections.

Nose:

Roasted notes, fresh leather, kirsch cherry and sweet spices.

Palate:

Complex and beautifully mature. Tannins a little more rustic, requiring an opening of 2/3 hours before serving.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted meats or at the end of the meal with a chocolate dessert.
