Wine:

A pure Tempranillo, aged in stainless steel tanks, the 2020 Red Rioja Viticola Finca Cienvacas is a chock full of ripe fruity aromas and freshness. It is a masterful red wine of great purity, with a modern temperament, from a high altitude terroir of clay and gravel. The fruit is splendid, between black cherry and blackberry, served by a juicy and velvety texture, with a rich and well acidulated palate. A deluge of abundant and fresh fruit notes, to be enjoyed now or for a few more years! A Selection Committee Favorite rated 96/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in open vats, regular pumping over. Matured in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.

Color:

Dark red, almost black, with purple reflections.

Nose:

Intense perfumes of fruits of good maturity oscillating between aromas of black cherry and blackberry.

Palate:

Juicy and velvety with abundant notes of fresh fruit, this wine of great purity offers a rich and acidulous palate with intense fruity flavors.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roasted chicken, linguine bolognese, artisanal cured meats.
