Wine:
A model of fine and fruity wine, the 2021 Red Saint-Chinian Lou Daro delivers beautiful notes of garrigue and of summery perfumes, with a very fresh aromatic reminiscent of basil and macerated black fruits. The ideal maturity and the smooth tannins makes for a palate with character, with a finish that is both fresh and mineral. A wine to be served decanted or to be kept for a few more months until spring, to accompany a vegetable tian or stuffed eggplant. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested, selection of grapes, total destemming, fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks (100%).The estate is in conversion to organic farming since 2021.

From now until 2028Taken over by the Limauge family, the Château de Gragnos is renewing itself, with 70 hectares of vines, orchards, garrigue and woods in an enchanting and preserved site. On this southern part of the Saint-Chinian terroir, the clay-limestone soils give more tension and freshness to the wines, forging well balanced cuvées, in organic conversion.
