Wine:

From 50-year-old vines rooted in sandy, flinty soils, the 2022 Menetou-Salon Le Carroir Red is a bold tribute to Pinot Noir. Aged in 400- and 500-liter barrels, it combines generous depth with the sharp, smoky edge typical of flint-rich terroirs. This plush yet slightly austere wine reveals a distinctive mineral tension and a smoky nuance that speaks clearly of its origin—an expressive and thoughtfully crafted red with serious character.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, wine left to ferment for 2 to 3 weeks in wooden vats, natural fermentation, blend of free-run juice and press juice, aged in 400 and 500 litre barrels.

Certified organic wine.
