Wine:

From an exceptional single-vineyard site, a small Kimmeridgian limestone hill, the 2022 white Sancerre Le Château captures the ripe, radiant character of the vintage while staying true to its terroir. Sourced from a tiny 60-are plot in Bué’s limestone-rich soils, this remarkably structured and deeply textured white stands among the finest expressions of Sancerre. A wine of true nobility, it ranks among the great whites of France. Rated 94/100 by the French wine guide RVF.

Hand-harvested in crates, fermented and aged for 10 to 12 months in demi-muids and stainless steel. Unfined, unfiltered wine.
