Always defined by its pure, unmistakable varietal character, the 2022 Silex White (Vin de France) remains—true to form—the most enigmatic wine in the range. Tightly coiled and impressively built, this is a wine that plays the long game. It will take its time, but when it finally opens up in bottle, expect a phenomenal display of power and precision. One of the estate’s standout vintages in recent years. Also available in magnum, where it promises to climb even higher. Patience, as always, will be richly rewarded. Vinification:

Hand harvested, aged for 12 months in oval wooden vats from the Taransaud cooperage.

Temperature:
