Wine:

Semi-dry in style, the 2019 White Montlouis-sur-Loire Les Tuffeaux appears in an invigoratingly fresh tapered style. With an absolutely perfect sugar-acidity balance, energy and great fullness on the palate, this sapid and compelling wine is best enjoyed quietly over the next fifteen years. Ideal with spicy food. Rated 92/100 by the RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested with successive sorting, pneumatic pressing, alcoholic fermentation in demi-muids by indigenous yeasts, up to 6 months, malolactic fermentation not sought, 11 months maturation in demi-muids on fine lees. Bottling in August 2020. Wine from Organic and Biodynamic Agriculture, certified.
