Wine:

Fully expressing its terroir of silty-clay on limestone, the 2020 Red Saumur Clos Mazurique reveals a beautiful abundant aroma of ripe fruit. The palate is dense with the minerality characteristic of Brézé wines shining through, and a smooth texture that will allow the wine to age in the cellar easily for the next 5 years.

Aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks.

Estate certified in Organic Agriculture since 2009 and certified in Biodynamic since 2018.

Nose:

Aromas of small red fruits, fine graphite, the absence of wood highlights this generous fruit.

Palate:

We appreciate the density of this ripe and fresh Cabernet, with always this mineral framework characteristic of the wines of the Brézé area.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Duck terrine, rabbit stew with red wine, monkfish with red wine, farmhouse St. Nectaire, roasted or grilled beef.
