Domaine Vincent Pinard - Sancerre - Le Château - Blanc - 2020

Wine:

From an uncompromising parcel of land, a small mound of Kimmeridgian limestone, the 2020 White Sancerre Le Château once again shows magnificent complexity and subtlety. 60 ares of the Bué limestone terroir have been isolated to forge this noble white wine, which is distinguished by its prominent structure and deep fullness. It is one of the great white wines of the French vineyard.

Vinification:

Hand harvested with a first sorting of the grapes, no sulfur, whole grapes, indigenous yeasts, pneumatic pressing. Fermentation and aging in demi-muids and stainless steel tanks. Wine not filtered.

The estate is 100% organic and biodynamic

Color:

Bright, light golden yellow.

Nose:

Beautiful bouquet with floral and citrus notes supported by a nice minerality.

Palate:

Delicate and complex, this wine is chiseled, refined with a beautiful substance and intensity.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Goat cheese, seafood, fish, shellfish.
