Vinification:

Hand harvested, the Cinsault and Tibouren grapes are matured in stainless steel vats, then the Grenache and Rolle grapes are matured in tulip-shaped concrete vats with a rounded bottom, generating a natural convection movement that suspends the lees and is similar to a batonnage. The estate has chosen to package this wine with a screw cap, Stelvin, thus preserving its freshness and exempting it from any defect of cork taste.

Color:

Very pale rosé with some mauve reflections.

Nose:

Very fine and pure on red fruits, a reminder of stone fruits and some aniseed touches.

Palate:

Fresh and light, this wine reveals fine bitters underlined by a reminder of red fruits. It is a thirst-quenching rosé, mainly for aperitif!

Temperature:

Serve between 8 and 10°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, seafood platter, small fries, grilled vegetables.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2023

Far from being reduced to its famous owner, Brad Pitt, Château Miraval is first and foremost a formidable terroir of Provence, bordered by olive trees and pine forests, where the Perrin family - Château Beaucastel - excels in forging subtle, delicate and fruity white and rosé wines.

It is in this preserved setting of nearly 1000 hectares of wilderness that these wines, prized for their freshness and authenticity, are born. Organic farming, an incredible patchwork of terroirs and a luxurious environment are amongst the key differentiating factors of this unique place, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful wineries in France.
