Wine:
Made predominantly from Mourvèdre (85%), the 2021 red Bandol channels all the power of Terrebrune’s limestone soils. Concentrated and ripe, it’s driven by vibrant aromas of graphite, liquorice, and wildflowers, with refined hints of bay leaf and wild blackberry on the nose. Effortlessly elegant, it combines density and juiciness with finesse, supported by beautifully judged ageing that adds subtle spice to the oak influence. The tannins are already remarkably smooth, giving the wine a velvety texture and immediate appeal. This is a sophisticated, irresistibly charming expression of Bandol, with the depth to evolve gracefully over the next decade and beyond. A short decant will enhance the pleasure, gently polishing the tannins and opening up its full aromatic range. Awarded 96/100 by the French wine guide RVF.Vinification:
