Wine:
Praised with top marks by the critics, the 2015 Hermitage Gambert de Loche Red is sourced from alluvial and granite soils, including the highly prized lieux-dits L’Hermite, Le Méal, and La Croix—the finest and most exceptional parcels managed by the Cave. This wine rivals the style of the appellation’s most renowned producers, delivering refined smoky and savory notes reminiscent of cured meats, all carried by remarkable freshness. It’s a truly great wine—balanced, seamless, and masterfully handling its generous fruit. The finish is simply delicious, and its aging potential is undeniable. A clear favorite of the Selection Committee, which awarded it 96/100.Vinification:
