Wine:
The 2021 red Crozes-Hermitage Nobilis Semita presents with a flawless nose, distinctively Crozes, featuring the Syrah’s signature smoky bacon notes with a well-judged and understated maturation. Ripe, fresh, and balanced, it provides an almost velvety mouthfeel, very fine tannins, and a great deal of immediate delectability. A very successful 2021 indeed!Vinification:
Hand-harvested, fermented in stainless steel vats for 10 days. Aged for 9 months, mainly in truncated-cone vats, with the remainder in 228-litre pièces Bourguignonne, then 10 months in stainless-steel vats.Color:
Dark, brilliant red with carmine highlights.Nose:
Very typical Crozes, marked by beautiful smoky notes.Palate:
Fresh and delicious, with beautifully ripe fruit, this cuvée boasts fine, velvety tannins, well-balanced juice and controlled ageing.
