A hidden gem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine La Barroche is a discreet yet highly acclaimed estate, praised by none other than Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World.

Julien and Laetitia Barrot farm some of the appellation’s finest old vines—many over a hundred years old—on prized plots, particularly in the cooler northern sector near Rayas. There, in their pursuit of freshness, they craft extraordinary cuvées available exclusively through allocation.

Produced in small volumes and aged in concrete vats or large wooden casks, these wines carry a near-cult status among collectors and connoisseurs. The estate’s refined, low-profile approach has earned it one star in the Revue du Vin de France guide—a mark of true excellence.
