Wine:
A plot-based wine planted on terraces in the village of Chavanay, the 2018 White Lieu-Dit Verlieu Condrieu benefits from a beautiful aromatic complexity around notes of white flowers and yellow fruit. The power of the viognier is perfectly tamed by the richness of the granite soils and the elegantly adjusted maturation in foudres and barrels. Beautiful bitters reinforce the persistence of this gastronomic white wine, perfect with a sea bass or a poultry risotto with ceps.Vinification:
Hand harvested, fermentation with indigenous yeasts. 50% of the harvest is matured in 30 hectoliter tuns and the remaining 50% in Burgundy barrels, without racking, for 12 months on the lees.Color:
