Wine:

A model of refinement, the 2020 Red Hermitage La Maison Bleue brings Syrah to its highest level of expression. The perfect maturity, the balsamic, pepper and violet notes on the nose, enchant with purity and finesse. The material unfolds a palate of great dimension, with volume, tenderness and a completed concentration. A masterpiece of finesse and power, a great bottle to be carefully aged. Rated 94/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, de-stemmed and lightly crushed, extracted by daily pumping over, aged for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels (20% of which are new) and in concrete eggs.

Color:

Ruby-violine red, of good intensity.

Nose:

Offers a beautifully mature Syrah, marked by scents of violet, balsamic and pepper.

Palate:

Suave and luscious, this wine with its accomplished concentration releases a rich palate, both fine and powerful and endowed with a great concentration.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Quail stuffed with foie gras, duck breast with cherries, milk lamb in a hay crust.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2032, and even more for enthusiasts.
