Wine:

Perfectly ripe and complex, the 2019 Red Le Passage Saint-Joseph is a bright and joyous wine, with light, smoky aromas of black fruits. A wine of delicate and classic style with a beautiful freshness of texture and a nice long finish. A model of its kind and appellation, to pair with a nice grilled meat.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, de-stemmed, cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, indigenous yeasts, aged for 18 months in barrels (10% new wood).

Color:

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Delicate and pure, marked by black fruit flavors mixed with smoky notes.

Palate:

Fresh and elegant, this wine of great classicism unfolds a fine, distinguished texture with a nice and lenghty finish. A true model of its appellation!

Temperature:

Decant before serving between 16 and 18°C.

Roasted ribs and bacon, pike-perch with red butter, lamb in a flaky crust, heart of beef tenderloin with a full-bodied juice and local ceps.
