Wine:

A model rosé, the IGP Côtes Catalanes L'Effet Papillon Rosé has a pale, delicate hue. Its pure notes of wild strawberries and summer flowers are immediately seductive, gliding over a palate that's tonic, fresh, taut and precise. A sumptuous summer rosé, light and well-balanced, to be reserved for grilled meats and aperitifs, of course. Rated 91/100 by the Comité.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, plot located on pebble and red clay soils, fermented and aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, bottled in February 2022.

This wine is made from grapes purchased, vinified and aged by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet with the same high standards as the wines of their estate.

Color:

Very pale salmon pink.

Nose:

Pure and fine with floral and wild strawberry notes.

Palate:

Tonic, fresh, precise and tense, this rosé of a beautiful balance is thirst-quenching and light.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, tapas, puff pastry with anchovies, grilled fish, grilled mullet, roasted poultry.
