Originally from Champagne, Brice Omont cultivates 16 hectares of biodynamic vines on two hillsides at the entrance to the Tarentaise region at Domaine des Ardoisières. The unspoilt, steep-sided landscapes are absolutely worth seeing, and the work carried out here is Dantesque and commands respect. In the space of two decades, Brice Omont has succeeded in elevating his estate to the summit of Savoie, making it an enviable singularity, and his success extends far beyond the Alps...

The wines are full-bodied and ripe, propelled by skilfully measured ageing, with little wood showing through and blending perfectly with the aging process. These wines are prized by connoisseurs, and their price is skyrocketing: you have to taste them at least once.
