The rarest expression of the distillery, the 18 Years Old Scotch Whisky embodies the highest step of the Aberlour style. It is extremely seductive with aromas of butterscotch, vanilla and gingerbread. To these aromas is added a hint of yellow fruit and crème brûlée which adds to its complexity. It is the richest and most generous of the Aberlour whiskies, to be paired with a roasted duck or a rib of beef. Amazing!

Elaboration:

Non-peated. Double distilled. Refined mainly in sherry casks.

Color:

Luminous gold with amber reflections.

Nose:

Aromas of milk caramel, vanilla, gingerbread mixed with beautiful woody notes, fine "rancio" and a touch of yellow fruits.

Palate:

Rich, generous and complex, the aromatic palette also reveals itself around notes of yellow fruits and crème brûlée. The finish is of a superb persistence. A very seductive bottle!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.
