Sourced from granite-rich parcels in the northern part of the valley, the 2021 Ignis Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Pinot Noir Red is a focused, energetic wine with beautiful balance. Elegant notes of black cherry, raspberry, and rose intertwine with subtler hints of orange peel and tea, creating a layered aromatic profile.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification with indigenous yeasts. Destemming and cold maceration for 10 days. Aged for 11 months in 228L French oak barrels, 24% of which are new.
