100% Tannat, the 2018 red Madiran from Château Montus has a beautiful freshness sourced from its particular vintage, with very pure notes of black fruits, graphite, licorice and spices. Dense and concentrated, still in the austerity of its youth, it unfolds an rich and serene palate, of great consistency; it is a wine that needs more time and that will need to be decanted before serving it on a shoulder of lamb confit or a jugged hare.
