Wine:

Crafted from a fine blend of the black grape varieties of the appellation, the 2020 red Châteauneuf-du-Pape reveals a rather juicy palette with a Mediterranean dominance of white flowers, scrubland, and spices. The full and fleshy palate, with a powerful tannic structure, remains fine and elegant, enlivened by a great freshness.

Vinification:

Separate hand harvested for each grape variety. Vinification in truncated wooden vats for Syrah and Mourvèdre, in traditional concrete and sandstone vats for the other grape varieties. Blending of the different grape varieties and aging in oak barrels for one year.

Certified organic wine.

Color:

Intense ruby red.

Nose:

Rich and complex with a nice freshness on aromas of black fruits and sweet spices.

Palate:

With delicate tannins, the texture is ample, this wine delivers marvelous notes of red fruits, redcurrant revealing a spicy point at the end of the palate. A silky and harmonious structure unfolds a real moment of pleasure.

Temperature:

Decant before serving at 16 to 18°C.

Rack of lamb and roasted chestnuts, pork cheek stew, fillet of beef on parsnip risotto and creamy sauce, aged Rocamadour.
