Wine:

The Brouilly cuvée Loïs 2008 instantly captivates us by its generosity and unparalleled crispness of fruit. The texture on the palate is superbly rich and juicy. With this amount of dense substance and notes of ripe burlat cherries, this wine is far removed from average Beaujolais standards and much closer to a Burgundy.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, traditional vinification (no carbonic maceration), aging in cask.

Color:

Sustained red colour

Nose:

Intense on the nose, aromas of burlat cherry (black cherry).

Palate:

Juicy, fruity and delicious on the palate, notes of red berries. Nicely powerful and crisp on entry

Temperature:

Serve between 11 and 13°C

Food and wine pairing:

Red meats, cold cuts, Beaujolais specialties.

Cellar aging:

Enjoy up to and including 2013
