Wine:

From the eponymous plot and a base of harvests from 2008 and 2009, the Grand Cru Les Aventures Blanc de Blancs Champagne offers great character. Combining intensity of aromas with refinement of expression, it celebrates Chardonnay with panache. Following a bubble of great elegance, the nose releases notes of ripe fruits and flowers with a touch of honey, vanilla, and extreme complexity. The palate is richly led, generous and vinous, illustrating both the strength and roundness allowed by this terroir; it maintains a certain freshness thanks to its intact dynamism and a beautiful relief carried by perfectly integrated woody notes in the wine's structure. A cuvée for aesthetes, with very low dosage (3 g/l), ready for the table, best enjoyed with poultry with porcini mushrooms or gratinated sole. Rated 96/100 by RVF (Revue du Vin de France).

Hand-harvested, blend of 2008 and 2009 vintages from a half-hectare plot in Chouilly called "Les Aventures", 22% aged in wood.
