Wine:

A blend of more than 20 different years, made exclusively from Côte des Blancs Chardonnays, the Grand Cru Champagne Cuvée de Réserve Version Extra-Aging Blanc de Blancs is an admirable wine, confounding in its pleasure and precision. The delicate floral nose, with hints of almond and fresh bread, opens the tasting with eloquence, followed by a structure combining delicate roundness, with an elegant, fresh finish. A great champagne for the aperitif as well as the table.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Blend of over 20 different years, composed exclusively of Chardonnays from several Côte des Blancs villages. Temperature-controlled fermentation in small stainless steel vats. Aged on fine lees. Bottled and stored in cellars for a second fermentation and slow maturation. Disgorging, addition of a small amount of dosage liqueur and corking. Dosage of 6 to 7 g/l.
This cuvée de Réserve "Extra-Aging" is aged 2 years longer on lees than the cuvée de Réserve before disgorgement. It is a perpetual reserve with a 2018 base and goes back to 1988.

Among the greatest chardonnay stylists, Rodolphe Péters crafts exquisite cuvées at the Pierre Péters Champagne with unparalleled precision and consistency.

We are unwavering fans of this uncompromising style, which brings out the chalky essence of Champagne like never before! Every cuvée we taste is a revelation, showcasing an audacious purity, elegance, and saline expression. The estate's remarkable vineyard holdings, primarily in the Grand Cru of Mesnil-sur-Oger, combined with exemplary winemaking, offer enthusiasts the quintessence of this terroir.

Becoming part of this exclusive circle is increasingly challenging, as this highly sought-after yet discreet house exports the majority of its wines. Don't miss the chance to experience these exceptional champagnes!
