Wine:

The 2021 red Moulin-à-Vent Rochegrès brilliantly plays on the freshness and finesse of this half-power vintage, which suits it so well. Juicy cherry and red berry fruit punctuate a fine, slender, easily digestible structure, in a light, airy style that's immediately appealing. A real success that's hard to get enough of. Rated 93/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, traditional Beaujolais semi-carbonic vinification in whole grapes with two 10-minute pump-overs per day.
Maceration for 9 to 11 days in concrete vats. Maturation of 6 to 8 months, for 95% of the harvest in tuns and in barrels of one and two years for the remaining 5%.

Color:

Light and bright red.

Nose:

Open and expressive, carried by cherry flavors.

Palate:

Fresh and light, this wine has a delicate and slender palate. What a success!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled entrecote, guinea fowl with cabbage, coq au vin, roast squab with pepper concassee, rabbit stew.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2025.
