Wine:
A tribute to the limestone of its terroir, the 2022 red Pic Saint-Loup Carra is primarily a highly effective Syrah-Grenache duo. The floral aspect and a hint of smokiness from the Syrah create a rather fresh and precise ensemble. The texture, free from richness or heaviness, unfolds sincerely with fresh, juicy fruit and great balance. This wine is ready to drink within 3 to 5 years and benefits from aeration or decanting before serving to fully release all its aromas.Vinification:
Traditional vinification, gentle extraction by punching down in concrete and conical wooden vats. Native yeasts. Aged a minimum of 10 months in concrete vats.Certified organic and biodynamic wine.
