Wine:

The 2020 Red Rully offers the perfect profile of a ripe Pinot Noir with lots of purity and an abundance of fruit. The aging is well-integrated, enveloping a fleshy, fairly dense but still fresh and precise structure. A nice bottle to enjoy in the coming years; a little decanting or a large glass would be welcome.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed, macerated for 1 to 2 weeks and fermented by vertical or pneumatic pressing.
Aged in barrels, 15 to 20% of which are new, for 10 to 14 months.

Color:

Dark, brilliant red with carmine highlights.

Nose:

After aeration, the profile is pure, with abundant fruit notes and a masterful touch of wood.

Palate:

Precise and full-bodied, this fresh wine offers sapid, beautifully ripe juice.

Temperature:

Decant or serve in large glasses, between 14 and 16°C.
