Wine:

The 2020 Red Crozes-Hermitage is one of Guigal's star cuvées. In this sumptuous vintage with magical maturity and concentration, it offers great depth and a certain power that surpasses its appellation. The ripe fruit, a mix of black cherry and blackcurrant, blends with the fine vanilla aromas from the oak aging, without losing freshness or energy. A dense and generous wine with prominent tannins, it has the potential to age well.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, 35 year old vines, traditional vinification for 21 days in thermo-regulated vats, aged for 24 months in oak barrels.

Color:

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant, underlined by vanilla notes brought by the ageing in wood.

Palate:

Powerful and intense at the same time, this bottle unfolds a fresh, generous and dynamic palate of good density and with noticeable tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.
