Wine:

The 2020 red Cornas Terres Brulées is a triumph, crafted from an exceptional vintage. It reveals a concentrated and mature bouquet, with scents of violet, speck, and licorice, complemented by elegant woody notes. The palate mirrors the vintage's excellence, presenting a generous, full-bodied, and rich texture, yet maintaining a fresh aspect. The fine oak influence caramelizes and highlights the overall experience. This outstanding Cornas is a wine to cherish for 10 years or more, earning it the Committee's enthusiastic endorsement with a score of 94/100.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested and de-stemmed, temperature-controlled vinification, aged 21 months in oak barrels, 15% of which are new, and the remainder from 1 to 4 wines.

Very dark red, almost black, with a few purplish hues.

Nose:

Ripe and concentrated, with hints of violets and speck, underlined by hints of licorice.

Palate:

Full-bodied and rich at the same time, with a thread of freshness running through it, let yourself be charmed by this top-notch cuvée, with its caramelizing oakiness that underlines the wine.

Serve between 14 and 16°C.
