Wine:

Mourvèdre, merlot, and tintorera, which is none other than alicante bouschet, come together in the blend of this 2021 red La Francesita cuvée. Both ripe and intense with juicy red and black fruits, punctuated by a hint of graphite from the merlot, this Spanish ensemble is fresh, complemented by restrained oak. Supple and rich, we appreciate this cuvée for its structure, fine tannins, and a finish with notes of licorice and smoke. Traditional vinification. Aged in 500-litre French oak barrels for 6 months.
