A bold creation, the Zacapa Edición Negra Rum is crafted using the Solera method, where rums of different ages and characters are blended, then aged in a series of barrels. It then undergoes an additional year of aging in toasted American oak barrels, giving it a new, more structured dimension with intense flavors of smoke, incense, and warm spices. Caramelized fruit, plums, and raisins with a hint of smoke intertwine with flavors of chocolate and dried fruits; the long and intense finish wraps up this rich and flavorful rum. Available in a gift box accompanied by two glasses.

Elaboration:

Produced using the 'Sistema Solera' technique. Rums of different ages and characteristics are blended and aged in a succession of casks, with a further year's ageing in toasted American oak barrels.
